Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, travelled from Barbados to the U.S. on Friday and is set to celebrate his daughter’s first performance since 2018 (!!!) with her at the Super Bowl after-party tonight (sadly, he doesn’t have tickets to the concert/pre- and post-concert football game). He recently spoke to Page Six about our burning questions about his daughter.
He’s ecstatic. Full disclosure: I plagiarised his football-game-is-the-opening-act line, which sounds better coming from a doting parent. “Everybody is thinking football is simply opening up for her—the it’s Rihanna show,” he remarked. “Everyone has been waiting.”
Let’s begin with his own Rihanna (and Rihanna + A$AP Rocky) revelations concerning his grandson’s name. He said Rihanna has tried “few names” for her son. Ronald didn’t reveal those identities because he didn’t want to be excluded from future Fenty family gatherings.
What if he broke the baby name silence? “She’ll have my head!” OK.

Don’t expect a Rihanna-Rocky wedding.
“I don’t know about marriage,” Ronald said when asked if the longstanding couple will marry.
I’m sad we’ll never see Rihanna’s bridal fashion.
